Former Wells Fargo Regional SVP Forms Real Estate Investment Shop

(HOUSTON, TX) April 15, 2019 – Former Wells Fargo Wealth Management Real Estate Asset Management Regional SVP Ryan Urech has launched a real estate private equity and advisory firm focused on the middle market real estate sector called Rycore Capital LP (“Rycore”).

Rycore is a joint venture between Urech and three Houston-based family offices. The partnership will allow Rycore to access both debt and equity opportunities with an ownership group balance sheet of over $250 million.

Ryan Urech, Founder and Chief Executive Officer will lead the Rycore investment strategy and manage capital partner commitments. The firm will sponsor single-asset and multi-asset commingled funds targeting core-plus, value-add and opportunistic investments and will also provide direct investment consulting for families/individuals that need expertise in the acquisition and asset management of their wholly-owned real estate assets. The asset focus will be across the full spectrum of commercial and residential real estate assets throughout the US, including apartments, office, mixed-use, retail, industrial and healthcare. The Firm will initially focus on its primary target markets in the Southwest and Southeast US.

Mr. Urech previously served in a regional executive role with Wells Fargo’s wealth management division servicing client owned real estate portfolios. Ryan has advised high net worth families in the construction of income producing real estate encompassing over 1.5 million sf feet across twenty acquisitions in multiple geographic locations as well as medical development of senior housing and medical office assets.
