Built Around the People Who Do the Work
Real estate performs better when the people responsible for results stay close to the work.
Our team brings acquisitions, asset management, property management, construction, accounting, and capital formation together under one roof. We communicate openly, act with integrity, and take ownership of every investment we operate.
Rycore Capital was founded in 2019 and has grown into a fully integrated small bay industrial investment operating platform. The milestones below trace the relationships, investments, and operating capabilities that shaped the firm.
Before Rycore
Ryan Urech built his real estate record as a regional senior executive at Wells Fargo Wealth Management, completing more than $300 million in acquisitions across 1.4 million square feet in 10 states.
Rycore Capital Is Founded
Ryan founded Rycore with a private client advisory business serving family offices and high-net-worth clients across multiple property types, alongside a direct acquisition platform. The firm’s first two investments included a manufacturing facility and a suburban office property.
Small Bay Strategy Begins
Rycore completed its first small bay industrial acquisition in partnership with a private advisory client.
First Institutional Joint Venture
Rycore formed its first small bay institutional joint venture with a private equity fund and added $200 million in assets to its advisory platform. Ryan Urech was also named to the Top 100 Influencers in Real Estate.
The Partnership Continues
Rycore completed a second small bay industrial acquisition with the same institutional partner.
The Operating Platform Expands
Rycore formed a new institutional relationship through a multi-asset joint venture vehicle, added a private advisory client with $60 million in assets, began divesting non-core advisory holdings, and launched Rycore Commercial to bring property and construction management in-house.
A New Market and a Larger Partnership
Rycore completed its largest joint venture to date, with a New York-based institutional investment firm managing $50 billion in assets, and expanded the small bay industrial portfolio into Tampa, Florida.
The First Full Investment Cycle
Rycore completed the sale of its inaugural institutional small bay portfolio. The team also grew to 16 people, and the firm began building a dedicated capital formation function.
A Pure-Play Small Bay Platform
Rycore acquired seven small bay properties in Houston. Six of them were through direct partnerships with family offices, RIAs, and high-net-worth investors. Rycore also completed the wind-down of its non-core advisory holdings and sold two additional small bay properties, including its original 2020 acquisition after a six-year hold, bringing completed small bay exits to three.
Built for the Next Stage
Rycore has managed more than $455 million in assets since inception. Its current platform includes approximately $200 million in small bay industrial properties across Houston, Dallas, and Tampa.
A Platform Built to Grow
Rycore is working toward a $1 billion platform. Today, we raise equity deal by deal through direct partnerships with family offices, RIAs, private equity, and high-net-worth investors. Over time, we plan to add a discretionary, committed-capital program and expand into additional Southeast markets.
Meet the People Behind the Platform
Rycore’s team works across every part of the business, keeping decisions close to the properties and responsibility close to the people doing the work.
